2. To Enter: Must be a legal U.S. resident 18 years of age or older to enter to win. Sweepstakes begins November 15, 2004 and ends January 25, 2005. To enter Log onto www.LatinoBaseball.com or, write your name, address and daytime and evening telephone number on a piece of 3”x 5” paper and mail it to: Caribbean World Series Sweepstakes P.O. Box 1725 Grand Central Station, New York, NY 10163-1725. All entries must be postmarked by January 23, 2005 and received by January 25, 2005. Group and Mechanically reproduced entries, including photocopies, are not eligible. Enter as often as you like but each entry must be mailed separately. The sponsor will not be responsible for lost, illegible, mutilated, incomplete, misdirected or postage due entries. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

3. Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a trip for two (2) to the Caribbean World Series in Mazatlán, México. The prize consists of two (2) round-trip coach air tickets departing from the nearest major airport to the winner’s residence to Mazatlán, México on Thursday, February 3, 2005 and returning Sunday, February 6, 2005 to airport of origin, hotel accommodations for two (2) for 4 days/3 nights (double occupancy) at a hotel to be determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion and two (2) tickets to the Games on February 3-6. Winner of the Grand Prize is solely responsible for all other expenses not specified herein, including but not limited to meals, tips, travel upgrades, hotel incidentals, country taxes and ground transportation to and from the airports. Grand Prize winner and guest must travel together on specified itinerary. All travel dates and arrangements are subject to change based on availability. The approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $3,000; final value of trip may vary based on point of departure and ticket and hotel availability and cost at time of purchase. Travel arrangements/accommodations at Sponsors’ discretion. Prize may not be substituted and are not transferable. Prize cannot be exchanged, sold or bartered for cash. Winner is responsible for any and all federal, state and local taxes.

4. Winner Selection: The winner will be selected in a random drawing to be held on or about January 20, 2005 by an independent judging organization whose decision with respect to the selection of the winner and the interpretation of these rules and regulations are final in every way. Any entrant who is selected in a drawing under this Sweepstakes shall be deemed a potential winner, and such entrant and his/her entry shall be subject to verification and the requirements of these Official Rules. The Potential winner shall be notified by telephone and Overnight Mail, in the event potential winner is unavailable after three call attempts over a 24-hour period and no response to the overnight package, prize will be forfeited and an alternate will be selected. Potential winner will be required to sign and return an affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Indemnification and a Publicity Release, where allowed by law, within two business days. If potential winner does not sign and return such documentation within such time period, potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected, if time permits. If for any reason any prize is not claimed or winner is disqualified, the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner, also selected at random, if time permits. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

5. General Rules: Employees of Latinobaseball.com, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, promotion or fulfillment agencies, and any of their affiliated companies and suppliers, and immediate families and members of household (whether or not related) are not eligible to enter or win.

By acceptance of prize, winner grants permission to the Sponsor and their agencies to use the winners name, city, state, and likeness for purposes of advertising, promotions, and trade without further compensation in all media including Internet, except where prohibited by law. By entering, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Latinobaseball.com, their parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, advertising and promotional agencies and prize suppliers and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives from any and all claims and damages arising out of an entrants participation in the Sweepstakes and/or acceptance or use or misuse of any prize.

Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, violates these official rules, or acts in a disruptive manner. No responsibility is assumed for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of entries. También, gozará de las comodidades de hotel para dos (2) personas por cuatro (4) noches tres (3 días) (ocupación doble) en un hotel que será asignado por los patrocinadores a su discreción, y dos (2) boletos para ver los juegos en febrero 3-6. El ganador del Gran Premio es solamente responsable del resto de los costos no especificados adjunto, incluyendo pero no limitado a las comidas, propinas, una mejor transportación, pedidos extras en el hotel, a los impuestos del país y al transporte en tierra a/y desde los aeropuertos. El ganador del Gran Premio y huéspedes deben viajar juntos en itinerarios especificados. Todos los viajan y fechas están conforme al cambio basado en disponibilidad. Selección del ganador: El ganador será seleccionado por un sorteo al azar, al cual será realizado el o aproximadamente el 20 de enero de 2005, por una organización independiente cuya decisión, con respecto a la selección del ganador, se ajustará a las reglas y regulaciones, y sus decisiones será la validera. Cualquier concursante que se seleccione en este Sweepstakes debe ser considerado el ganador potencial, y tal concursante y su participación será sujeto a confirmación basado a los requerimientos de las Reglas Oficiales. El ganador potencial será notificado por teléfono y por la vía del correo nocturnal. En caso de que el potencial ganador no esté disponible luego de tres llamadas telefónicas en un período de 24 horas y no responda al correo nocturnal, perderá el premio por incumplimiento.
